This site is a photographic tour of Edinburgh. The idea is that the images are views you can see from the location specified. So if you click on Holyrood Park you will get views of the city centre and Firth of Forth rather than views of Arthur's seat. I've tried to stick with this idea as far as possible but it isn't a hard and fast rule. You can use the search facility to find specific places of interest.
The images are all taken by myself, mostly
using Canon Powershot cameras
If you would like hi-res versions of the images without the logo please contact me. There is no charge if the use is for non-commercial purposes. Most of the files are 2 - 8 Megapixels in size with the panoramas (the ones that look small and thin onscreen) being somewhat larger.
You can use any of the images as desktop wallpaper (though some will work better than others). Simply right click on them and choose 'Set as Desktop Background'.
