Portobello is a beautiful seaside resort just a few miles away from the center of Edinburgh. It truly is a magical place and can quite easily be regarded as one of the best beaches in the UK. If it is not the middle of winter and people aren't playing free bingo or football you can guarantee that they will be on the beach taking in its beauty. Portobello is not just a beach, it is also the home of some beautiful architecture.
